The National Suicide Hotline Designation Act, signed into law in 2020, authorized 988 as the new three-digit number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. All telephone service providers in the U.S. must activate the number no later than July 2022; however, many providers will choose to implement the service sooner.
Once a Veteran's telephone service provider makes 988 available, Veterans can use this new option by dialing 988 and pressing 1 to contact the Veterans Crisis Line.

Are you looking to engage in one on one discipleship? Why not join the Free2Succeed Mentorship Program, an Idaho Department of Corrections Community Mentor Program designed to match community mentors with adult felons who are transitioning to communities throughout Idaho. These may be incarcerated individuals preparing for release or those who are currently on supervision but are seeking some additional support.
Free2Succeed is focused on community mentoring and is not inside an institution. The goal is to find a mentor for someone who requests one about 90 days before their release.
Old friends are the number one cause for relapse for those coming out of incarceration. Solution--New Friends--like you. Show a newly released person what real love is. (and of course invite them to church)
