Kris Siebers – 6:00am – Noon Saturday and Noon – 4:00pm Sunday
kris@todayschristiancountry.com Kris has been in the radio biz for over 30 years now. A native of the Pacific Northwest, and raised in a small town in Montana, Kris used to spend his childhood days riding his bike and listening to his Walkman, which began his love for music, radio DJs and the entire radio culture. He got his first radio job in November 1991 playing commercials during local high school basketball games, then eventually playing songs on the local rock and country stations. He eventually ended up in Spokane, WA working on various stations, from Oldies to modern Rock to News/Talk. In 2011 he started at local station 89.9 KYMS and worked there for 8 1/2 years, helping create and program the Today’s Christian Country format. Kris eventually left and worked at another News/Talk station for 2 1/2 years before coming back to Today’s Christian Country on weekends. Kris is married to his wonderful wife Kristina, and between them, they have four children and two grandchildren. Kris spends his Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons with you on Today’s Christian Country, and fills in for the other DJs anytime he gets a chance. He also is a professional voice actor, and has been in numerous local theatre shows and is an upcoming film. God has truly blessed Kris in his calling and his life and he hopes that you enjoy the music and whatever God prompts him to say on the air every weekend.
