North Georgia Tri-State Amateur Radio Club Amateur Radio Licenses testing sessions

North Georgia Tri-State Amateur Radio Club, Inc. began offering testing sessions for Amateur Radio Licenses in Union County to individuals interested in running their own amateur radio station. And the good news is you can take the test right here in Blairsville at 9:00 AM the first Saturday of every month.

Once your license has been issued by the Federal Communications Commission, which takes just a few days with our new computerized testing process, you can use the Amateur Radio Frequencies to communicate around the world. 

The men and women who have passed the test ranged in age as young as 11 and into their 90’s! Interested to learn more?

Fellowship of the Hills Satellite Worship Service at Blairsville Cinema

EVERY SUNDAY @ 10am, at the Blairsville Cinema, Fellowship of the Hills (FOTH) has a satellite Worship Service at the THEATER.  This will be a first for Union County as FOTH will simulcast its Sunday Worship Service on the “big screen” live from its main campus. It’s free and it’s come as you are. If you’ve been hesitant about going to a “church building”, well, why not be our guest at the Theater every Sunday at the Theater at 10am.  

For those with children, we would like to encourage you to bring the family to our main Worship Center located in the Mountain Village Plaza where we offer both Nursery and Children’s church ministries at that location.
